Market capitalisation and disclosed financing are now separate tables

A share price and a cumulative funding total answer different questions, so ranking them together would invent a meaningless number.

Editorial note

The new market-cap table only covers companies with publicly traded equity, and it deliberately leaves private companies in a separate comparison block ranked by disclosed financing. Several outlets blur the two by adding a latest valuation to lifetime funding; that sum is neither a valuation nor a total raised. Keeping the tables apart also makes the currency and timestamp problem explicit: funding figures are event-dated, market caps are trading-minute data.

An AI agent can draft an entry, but only an editor who has opened the original sources can move it to published. Bilingual notes are written independently, and any entry without a source or a hand-written note produces no page at all. See the editorial policy for the full rule.
